เหนือเมฆ2

This drama originally had 18episodes and its ninth episode was aired Sunday, 30th .  Its 10th episode, that should be aired last Friday night, was canceled because of its “inappropriate content”. This led to criticism in social media that the ban was because of “political intervention”.
With in the first 30 minutes after the show was cenceled, there are tones of topics surrounding the cancellation in social media. People were MAD! Everyone is going on and on about the democracy, the corruption, the insecure government and the misfortune of the country
Soon enough this topic turns in to the disaster for both the government and the Channel3. It’s no longer Thai problem, it’s in the Asian news. Mak Prin, the main actor, is not only the very famous superstar of Thailand, people in China, Tai wan and Singapore love him.
Everyone wants the reasons of the cancellation and when they don’t get any, they soon believe that the reason is because the plot of the show mock the government behaviors and they are not so happy about that so they force Channel3 to ban the drama.
After the cancellation, all the drama crews are nowhere to be found. There’s no interview or opinion about the topic, only some movements in the social network , Nok SinJai.. the actress posted that “I believe in merit, don’t be afraid to be good and don’t be embarrassed to do good” which only confirm the idea of government banning the show.

Panthongtae, son of the former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, nephew of the current prime minister, has posted his opinion about this topic trough Facebook on this Tuesday, urged the channel 3 to broadcast the Final episodes of the drama when the main plot of the drama seems to mock the Shinawatras Family. He said that although the series unfairly caused damages to real people who could be easily linked to the series' fictional characters, its final episodes should go on air. He also post the picture of the drama crews with the quote, "Though I disagree with everything you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it." Voltaire, the French philosopher.
One famous doctor who is a main guest in the show at chanel3 even quit his show to show the disgust towards the cancellation!

My mom’s opinion about the cancellation is
I can't believe they banned Nua Mak. I want to see the end of the bad guy. Too bad. But I can use this as a case study for my social lesson. Very good example of an important characteristic of a dictatorship government - controlling the media. The thing is that they allow very stupid and violence drama where girls slap each other for a rich man or that kind of value that would imbed in girls' head but they ban a well made drama that gives people some ideas that bad guys deserve punishment and good guys are protected by their own good karma and that there are people who would rather die for the right thing and for the country. I don't even know the reason for banning it. The consequence is that no producer will dare to do anything different. And we can look forward to more brainwashing, husband snatching dramas. Soon they may put it in a constitution "no politics on TV" next to the section on rights and freedom of the people. I just hope that somebody put the rest of Nua Mek on youtube so we can vote like to show our protest for this unbelievable stupidity of this government. I can't believe I can hate them even more. Note U-dom should have another stand up show soon so we can have a good laugh about it. But be careful he might be arrested half way through his show - oops! no politics in the media!!!!

For me I think  it’s not right at all! Government has no right to interfere the Media! It’s written it the constitution. We should have every right to express our thought  about everything in our life. Nua Mek2 is actually the best movie airing at that time. It teaches us so many things not only about being good or about politics but also a lot of other useful stuffs. Cancel it like this is very humiliating! This is the democratic country and someone should do something about this as soon as possible!

Channel 3 yesterday pulled a drama series off the air just two hours before airing its final episode, citing inappropriate content.
The series Nua Mek 2 follows the story of a prime minister, his crooked deputy, and a sorcerer who performs black rites to manipulate the political power play.  The series features a character called Prae-pailin and a special investigation unit called the TSI.The hook of the story is that the prime minister is already dead and his body is possessed by a necromancer.    The narrative also involves an attempt by villains to steal the four mythical weapons of Lord Naraya.
However, rumours have been rife since Wednesday that Channel 3 was being pressured to end the series before its epilogue.
Actress Chalida Wijitwongthong posted on her Instagram account on Wednesday that the series was being forced to end prematurely because of political interference .Her agent said later, however, that Chalida was merely speculating.
